The common motor controller has a pair of input interfaces for connecting to the high-voltage interface of the power battery pack; The other pair is a high-voltage output interface that connects to the motor and supplies control power.
In addition, there is a low-voltage connector through which all communication, sensors, low-voltage power supplies, etc. must be connected to the vehicle controller and power battery management system.
The following diagram is a typical electrical diagram of a pure electric vehicle power system, where the blue line represents the low-voltage communication line and the red line represents the high-voltage power line. The second one in the top column on the far right is the motor controller. The components that are strongly connected to the motor controller are the motor and the power battery pack; The motor controller is connected to the vehicle's CAN bus and can communicate with the vehicle controller, digital dashboard, and power battery management system, exchange data, and receive commands.
Closed loop: The vehicle controller collects important status parameters such as vehicle speed sensors, temperature, voltage of various electrical components, etc., to determine the overall condition of the vehicle and whether it meets the driver's requirements, without hindering the health of the entire system. This process is a closed-loop control at the vehicle level.
